| The northern terminus is at East Avenue (Route 96) near Highland Avenue. It runs south through Pittsford, Mendon and Honeoye Falls. The southern terminus is at Route 5 and Route 20. |
Route 65 has a suburban character at its nothern end when it is Clover Street. From Mendon south it is primarily a rural road. Route 65 runs adjacent to Mendon Ponds Park.
