The Rochester area has many hikes you can take and many parks you can check out. You may also want to see the High Falls area as they feature a laser light show every Saturday night in the warm months. Boating and fishing are popular water activities. The Rochester area also offers several beaches.
Be sure to check out the festivals! Many take place during the summer, such as the Jazz Festival, Corn Hill Arts Festival and the very popular Park Avenue Summer Art Festival. The East End Night Life Festival occurs once a month throughout the summer.
