Best Public Bathrooms

• The men's rooms at the Amtrak Station on Central Avenue are surprisingly charming.
  

• Bathrooms at Barnes & Noble are usually good, especially the Webster location.
  

• The Bug Jar's men's room has some of the best graffiti (ie. "Ya Moms Fo Breffus").
  

• The County Building at 39 West Main Street provides free lavatory access and a drinking fountain for taxpayers.
  

• Ellison Park's bathrooms are great.
  

• The bathrooms at the Greater Rochester International Airport are clean and well-maintained, though perhaps a bit of a trip if you're in immediate need of a restroom.
  

• The ladies room at the Webster Lowe's is one of the best I've encountered.
  

• The Sully Branch Library on Webster Ave at the Mayor Thomas P. Ryan, Jr. Community Center and Library.
  

• The attractions at Seneca Park are not limited to the Seneca Park Zoo: the custom urinals are also quite striking.
  

• Spot Coffee, on East Ave., has good bathrooms and is big enough that no one will notice if you're not a customer.
  

• Starbucks bathrooms rarely fail to disappoint.
  

• The circus inspired ladies room at Tinseltown is fun after a long movie.
  

• Voula's Greek Sweets's bathroom is as charming as the rest of the place.
  

• Wegmans' bathrooms: pleasant, with the possible exception of the E. Henrietta Rd. locale. Good hand soap.
  

• Java's at the Market Coffee Roasters is quite creative.
  

• At the corner of Andrew Langston Way and Elm Street, within the building that serves Midtown Parking Garage, there are some nice public restrooms that are seldom used and not well known. Very good place to use the restroom downtown, where public bathrooms are not in abundance. Unfortunately, they are locked on weekends.
