The Washington Square Neighborhood refers to the area surrounding Washington Square Park. It is a business district that contains the local headquarters for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Frontier Communications, and others. It has some entertainment options as well, including the Geva Theatre and several well-known restaurants. The Lofts at Capron and Woodbury Place are recent major development projects. The Legacy Tower is a neighborhood focal point.
